Transportation Logistics Supervisor Full Time NEW

Bolt Technologies (GoBolt) is seeking one (1) Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our growing team in Toronto, Ontario! This position is a full-time permanent position delivered in the English language. At GoBolt we provide a technology-driven, customer-centric, and sustainable approach to e-commerce and last-mile logistics for businesses of all sizes – from local brands to large national retailers. By operating as an extension of our customer’s team, we deliver best-in-class services every step of the way. We are building North America’s largest electric vehicle fleet to help bring sustainability to an industry notorious for its heavy impact on the environment.

Job duties include:
-Supervise, plan, assign and review a system of fleet carriers drivers through coordinating distribution and production, dispatching drivers, scheduling transportation routes, and other related activities
-Ensure compliance with policies, procedures for safety and security, standards and regulations in force and participate in their improvement. Regularity review transportation fleet compliance and ensure safety regulations are being followed
-Onboard and train fleet drivers and monitor their performance
-Conduct performance reviews of fleet contractors and their drivers
-Resolve various complaints and problems relating to high-priority customer issues. Act as the final escalation point for these issues

Education:
-Post-secondary education in relevant area of business and logistics OR equivalent in direct experience
-Secondary high school diploma

Experience:
-5 plus years of direct supervisory/ management experience in supply chain and logistics

Salary and hours: $38.46 per hour for 35 hours per week. Annualized as $70,000 per year.
