Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and replace various types of roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and flat roofs.
• Ensure proper waterproofing, insulation, and ventilation in roofing installations.
• Work safely at heights and follow company and industry safety protocols.
• Use hand and power tools efficiently for roofing tasks.
• Measure, cut, fit and secure metal panels, valleys, ridges, eaves and sheet metal flashings.
• Inspect roofing systems to locate leaks, damaged materials, improper flashing and ventilation problems.
• Replace deteriorated roof decking when required as part of the roofing installation
• Inspect and troubleshoot roofing issues, providing effective solutions.
• Remove damaged roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces for installation
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power metals
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Travel to residential and commercial job sites as required
• Install, repair and replace asphalt shingles, shakes and other roofing materials on sloped roofs.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in roofing installation
• Experience with shingled roofs, metal roofing, modified roofing systems, rigid pre-formed roofing systems and single-ply membrane roofing
• Ability to inspect roof structures, identify leaks and determine appropriate repair methods
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
• Experience erecting and working from ladders, scaffolding and other working platforms
• Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive work
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work outdoors, at heights and in varying weather conditions
