Job Description & Job Responsibilities:
As a Concrete Construction Worker, you will be working as part of a team to place concrete for commercial customers. Job tasks include:
– Load, unload and transport construction materials
-Perform pre-operational inspection
-Clean and pile salvaged materials
-Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Job Start: As soon as possible

Employee Requirements:
– Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident or a temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit
– Must have High School Diploma
-Lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)

Employees will be working with materials including: concrete.

Steel-toed safety boots

Employee Transportation Requirements:
Employees will be required to commute frequently around the city. some job site don’t have public transport access. Transportation will be supplied for out of town work . Own transportation to and from job sites. within the city. are required

Employees shall receive 1.5% more than the regular wage for any hours worked over 8 hours per day up to 44 regular hours worked per week.
Employees are entitled to min. 30 minutes per daybreak time – employees are entitled to at least 30 minutes of rest (break) during every 5-hour work period. If an employer and an employee agree, the break may be taken in 2 periods of at least 15 minutes (lunch, coffee breaks, etc…)
Employees are entitled to 2 day(s) off per week and this will vary depending on the job schedule unless overtime on the weekend is necessary. Up to five days of job-protected sick leave and three days of bereavement leave for the loss of a family member.
Employees are entitled to 9.6% combined Holiday and Vacation Pay computed on the Employee’s regular pay per every pay period ( Bi-Weekly)
