Nail Technician Full Time

We are a fast-paced nail salon in Mount Pearl NL seeking an experienced and enthusiastic nail technician. Working with our team of talented nail technicians, you will help to provide the best nail salon experience for our customers. On-going training and development will be provided.
The terms of each of the employment positions are as follows:
• Full-time with the possibility of overtime
• Applicants must be flexible with their availability for work hours including daytime and evening hours during the week and weekends
• Wage will be $16.35/hour – $20.00/hour – negotiable depending on experience and skill
• Potential additional pay: tips
• 10 business days vacation per working year or 4% remuneration paid
Successful applicants must have the following qualifications and skills:
• 5 years experience in a nail salon or as a nail technician
• Nail Esthetician accreditation certificate from a program with a duration of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent educational/training experience.
• Show high levels of organization and reliability
• Be client focused
• Give high attention to detail and accuracy
The job duties for each position are:
• Completion of manicures and pedicures
• Hand and foot massages
• Nail care: cleaning, trimming, buffing and polishing of nails
• Application of nail polish, including shellac
• Nail repair and extraction
• Application of nail extensions in acrylic, gel, powder gel, lcn gel, and solar nail sets
• Nail art: gem design application, creation of finely detailed nail polish designs, as well as creation and application of 3D designs.
