The Seventh-Day Adventist Church (British Columbia Conference) is currently looking for one (1) Lodge (Camp) Manager to manage our Camp Hope facilities in Hope, British Columbia. This position is a full-time permanent position and in the English language.
Job Duties:
-Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures for the operations of the camp
-Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses at the camp facilities
-Participation in the development of pricing and promotional strategies
-Recruit, train, and supervise staff and set work schedules
-Participate in daily worship, prayers, and ministry-related activities for Camp Hope employees
-Manage and supervise kitchen, housekeeping, office staff, summer staff, camp meeting staff, and other volunteers at the facilities
-Manage individual and group reservations for the lodge, cabins, meeting spaces, and external camp facilities
-Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities for special events and other functions
-Resolve and manage customer complaints
Employment Requirements:
-Two (2) to three (3) years direct management/ supervisory experience in a hospitality setting
-Post-secondary education at the bachelor’s degree level in a related field
Wage and hours
-$42.00 an hour
-30-40 hours per week
