Job Summary:
Kitasoo Seafoods LP is seeking an experienced Finance Control Supervisor to provide financial leadership, accounting oversight, and operational support for our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee accounting and financial operations for Kitasoo Seafoods LP.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end reporting.
• Manage CRA, GST/PST, payroll, T4, WCB, and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain strong financial controls, policies, and accounting procedures.
• Provide financial reporting, analysis, and advice to management and Directors.
• Monitor business processes, costs, inventory, and financial controls to improve efficiency and reduce financial leakage.
• Support managers and staff with operational procedures, reporting, HR administration, and organizational policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational processes.
• Perform other related finance and operational duties as required.

Wage:
• CAD 40.95 per hour, 40 hours per week

Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Finance Services or comparable education.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.
• 5+ years of experience with financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, taxation, and audits.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• 5+ years of experience working with multiple entities or business units is an asset.
• Experience working with an Indigenous organization, Indigenous-owned business, First Nation, or Indigenous community is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• 5+ years of experience working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Professional accounting designation or equivalent education and experience is an asset.
• Ability to work respectfully and effectively with community members, employees, management, and leadership.
