Main Duties
• Plan, organize, direct, and oversee residential and commercial construction projects from start to completion according to project schedules, specifications, and budgets.
• Prepare and monitor construction schedules, project milestones, cost estimates, and progress reports.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and construction personnel.
• Prepare contracts and coordinate revisions, changes, and project-related agreements.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, quality control procedures, and timelines.
• Develop and implement project quality control and risk management procedures.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, procurement coordination, and material scheduling.
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress to ensure efficient construction operations.
• Coordinate communication between management, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare project status reports and maintain project records and documentation.
• Support management in achieving project delivery objectives and construction operational goals.
Employment Requirements
• Completion of a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction technology, civil engineering, engineering technology, project management, or a related field.
• 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction project management, construction supervision, or related construction industry experience.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, construction schedules, project budgets, and construction operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, budgeting, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple construction activities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with residential construction, commercial construction, or renovation projects is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
