Class 1 Truck Driver Full Time
Wellgo Transport Inc. is seeking experienced Class 1 Truck Drivers to transport freight safely and efficiently throughout Canada and the United States.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units on long-haul routes.
Transport freight across Canada and the United States.
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely.
Complete driver logs, inspection reports, and transportation documentation.
Comply with transportation safety regulations and company policies.
Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, and route updates.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly.
Maintain a professional relationship with customers and receivers.
Requirements:
Secondary school diploma required.
Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
Minimum 1 year of commercial truck driving experience preferred.
Clean driver’s abstract.
Ability to cross the Canada–U.S. border.
Knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation documentation.
Strong commitment to safety and on-time delivery.
