Child Caregiver – Private Home Full Time NEW

• Anticipated start date: December 2026
• Duration: 1-year full-time contract
• Hours: Monday to Friday 7am-10am and 2pm-5pm (30 hours per week). Occasional overtime and weekend work required due to employer’s work schedule. If caregiver works Saturday 9-3 and Sunday 9-3, then two of the following weekdays will be off days. Overtime pay will be provided for any work over 44 hours per week.
• Work Setting: Employer’s home in Mississauga, ON
• Languages: English essential
• Minimum experience: 6 months
• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Training and other requirements: First Aid and CPR certification; Valid driver’s license; criminal record check; references
• Children: 1 child, age 11
• Duties: Supervise and care for child; assist with child’s personal hygiene routines; organize outings and plan activities for child; educational activities such as reading and writing; prepare and serve 2-3 nutritious meals per day; light household duties such as tidying up after child; preparing child for rest/nap periods; pick-up and dropoff for school
