Butcher Helper — Meat Processing Full Time NEW

Job Duties
1. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
2. Assist meat cutters in the preparation of meat products
3. Package, label, weigh and display meat products for retail sale
4. Grind meat and prepare basic meat products under the direction of senior staff
5. Assist with trimming and preparing meat products for packaging and display
6. Stock and organize meat display cases, coolers and storage areas
7. Receive, unpack and store incoming products and supplies
8. Check products for quality, freshness and proper packaging
9. Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, work surfaces and immediate work areas
10. Provide customer service and assist customers with product requests
11. Transport meat products, packaging materials and supplies within the workplace
12. On-the-job training will be provided
