Fix My Brick – North York is currently hiring two experienced Bricklayers for permanent, full-time positions.
Wage: $38.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience
Hours: 30–44 hours per week
Employment: Permanent, full time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours
Start Date: As soon as possible

Experience:
3 years to less than 5 years of bricklaying experience required.
Education:
No degree, certificate or diploma required.
Language:
English
Work Location:
Our main location is in North York, Ontario. Work is completed on site at various residential and commercial job locations.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles and other masonry units.
– Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects.
– Lay brick, stone and similar materials to provide veneer facing.
– Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
– Complete masonry construction, repair, renovation and restoration work.
– Build and repair patios, garden walls and other masonry installations.
– Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.
– Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
– Instruct and work alongside apprentices and masonry helpers.
– Build and repair residential and commercial chimneys and fireplaces.

Work Conditions:
This is physically demanding work. Applicants must be comfortable handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling, and working outdoors at active construction sites.
Applicants should be reliable, accurate, dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Required Equipment:
– Steel-toed safety boots.
– Basic Masonry tools
Transportation:
Company transportation is provided from our north York Ontario, location to job sites.
