Welder Full Time

We are currently searching for two (2) Welders

Duties:
•Interpret welding process specifications
•Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
•Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
•Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products,
•Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
•Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal
•Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment

Applicants must demonstrate progressive custom welding techniques to promote a positive company image.

Work Site Environment:
Noisy, Dusty

Own Type of Materials:
Aluminum alloys, Magnesium alloys, Nickel alloys, Steel, iron and heavy metals

Own tools/equipment
Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Welding helmet

Area of specialization
Custom fabrication, Auto repair, Machinery or equipment repair

Welding techniques
Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Brazing and soldering

Equipment and Machinery Experience:
Arc welding machine, Soldering machine

Work conditions and physical capabilities
Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods

Terms of Employment:
Permanent Position 40 hours per week

Hours of work:
From Monday to Friday
The shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30pm

Expected to regularly work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday for 8.5 hours a day. These hours may change based on business needs. You may also be asked to work additional hours beyond the regular hours, when business needs require it, and will be expected to be flexible with availability.

Salary:
From $ 27.50 to $ 30.00 per hour
