transport truck driver Full Time

Deomas Movers is a professional moving company operating in
 Western Canada, specializing in local moves. Currently, we are in search of one professional Drivers to join us on a full-time basis!

Shift available for this position.
* This position is Monday – Friday – 9am – 3pm, 6 hours daily, Total 30 hours weekly.

Duties and Qualifications:
– Abiding by Canadian Transportation laws and codes including safe driving practices and performing daily truck inspections.
– Fueling truck at the end of the day.
– Ability to use GPS and track truck’s movements.
– Understand and abide by company policies and procedures.
– Pack boxes, disassemble items, and/or wrap furniture if needed.
– Load and unload the moving truck.
– Move all items without damaging the customer’s home.
– Class 5, Class 3, or Class 1 with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
– Ability to lift 70 lbs. or more on a regular basis throughout the day.
– Punctual, Reliable, Team-player with heavy focus on customer service.

Experience:
– 5 ton or 3 ton truck: 1 year (preferred)
– furniture mover: 1 year (preferred)
– Full Class 5 Licence (preferred):
