Job Requirements:
• Languages Required: English
• Education: Completion of high school and training in tattooing, esthetics, or dermal arts or equivalent on-the-job training
• Experience: Several years of professional tattooing experience with a strong, varied portfolio; familiarity with health regulations and sterilization standards is mandatory.

Main Duties:
• Consult with clients on design, size, colour, and placement of body art; sketch and present custom designs.
• Prepare, clean, and sterilize all tattoo equipment and work surfaces according to Alberta Health Services regulations.
• Use a dermograph to apply permanent pigments to clients’ skin, ensuring precision, safety, and client comfort.
• Provide detailed after-care instructions and maintain accurate client consent and procedure records.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, pigments, and hygiene best practices; adhere to infection-control procedures at all times.
• Order and maintain inventory of inks, needles, and related supplies; monitor usage and costs.
• Contribute creatively to flash events, social-media content, and studio marketing initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming studio environment and assist with reception or client scheduling as needed.
