• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours / week)
• Salary: $40.00 / hour
• Benefits: Comprehensive third-party health benefits and life insurance
• Vacation Pay: 4 % of gross salary (two weeks annually)

Job Requirements:
• Languages Required: English
• Education:
Completion of formal tattoo artist training or equivalent professional tattoo training is required.
Practitioners offering these personal services are required to adhere to infection control procedures.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional tattoo artist experience required.
Main Duties:
• Consult with clients to discuss tattoo ideas, size, colour, design, placement and feasibility.
• Create custom tattoo designs in collaboration with clients based on their preferences and requirements.
• Apply tattoos using specialized tattoo equipment, needles, pigments and other appropriate tools.
• Prepare and apply temporary designs or stencils to the client’s skin as required before tattooing.
• Clean and sterilize tattoo equipment, tools and work areas and maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Follow established infection-control, health and safety procedures throughout all tattoo services.
• Schedule and coordinate client consultations and appointments and maintain communication with clients regarding tattoo aftercare.
• Provide clients with appropriate tattoo aftercare instructions and respond to questions regarding healing and care.
• Keep current with new tattoo techniques, styles and industry trends to maintain professional standards.
• Maintain a professional portfolio and assist with promoting the studio’s tattoo services and completed work through social media channels.
