Work Site: Work at physical location. Rural area.
Work Environment: Hog and Pig Farming. Dusty, hot, noisy, and odours.
Tasks: Handling animals, monitoring animal health. Treat livestock health issues. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures ate followed. Maintain work records and logs. Detect disease and health problems in livestock. Perform general farm duties. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens. Monitor animal behaviour. Vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases.
Work conditions: Ability to work independently, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing and walking.
