Welder – Trailers Full Time

Summit Trailer is growing and we have a position available for a qualified welder. The successful candidate will be one who is looking to continue their career in the welding trade, as well as their apprenticeship with Summit Trailer.

Responsibilities:
Truck builder/chassis modifications including dump truck, log rigging, roll off, wet kits etc.
Complete welding repairs on new and used trailers
Install accessories and modifications to trailers
Setting up and using band saw for cutting of material
Setting up and using of drill press and iron worker for the purpose of building parts to be used by the shop
Prepping and completing welding jobs in the shop
Welding and fabrication of parts

Education & Experience:
Minimum 3rd year welding apprentice.
Fitting experience
Ability to follow instructions and can read a basic measurement drawing.
Must supply their own tools
