structural engineering technician Full Time

Multi-Build Solutions Group Inc, located in Edmonton, Alberta, requires an experienced full-time Structural engineering technician.

Experience and Skills Required: At least 1 – 2 years experience as a Structural engineering technician.
Candidates must possess excellent written communication and must be a good team player who is organized.

The preferred educational qualification includes a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting one to two years.

Moreover, computer and technology knowledge in Auto CAD and Ms office is an asset.

Job Duties: Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements, assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings, participate in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations, prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates, prepare engineering designs and drawings, prepare project schedules, supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations and testing of construction materials

Wages: Starting at $36.00 per hour, based on experience; working 35 hours per week (days, evenings, mornings and weekends).
