Salon Manager Full Time NEW

Nails Time is a nail salon with four locations servicing the greater metro-St. John’s area in Newfoundland and Labrador. We are looking for between one-two dependable and highly skilled people to fill a salon manager position within each of our respective salon locations. Start date as soon as possible.

The terms of each of the employment positions are as follows:

Full-time (30 hours a week), with the possibility of additional hours
Applicants must be flexible with their availability for work hours including daytime and evening hours during the week and weekends
Wage will be in range $22.00/hour- $28.00/hour. Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
10 business days vacation per working year
Opportunity for year-end bonus

Successful applicants must have the following qualifications and skills:

Completion of a minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in Business, Management or related field
Experience in a nail salon or salon setting is considered to be an added asset, but not necessarily required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role w/ focus on administrative duties
Show high levels of organization and reliability
Be customer and employee focused

The job duties for each position are:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon
Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff, when required
Plan and control budget and inventory
Respond to customer inquiries or complaints and resolve problems if they arise
Develop and manage advertising and marketing strategies, including social media, website
Hire, train and supervise staff
Answer telephone, check-in customers, take payment for services
