Position Summary
QNAP Systems, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Director to lead and scale our Canadian operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with a strategic vision and deep industry knowledge to drive growth across multiple channels, including SMB, enterprise, government, and e-commerce.
Job Responsibilities
· Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy for Canada, targeting both B2B and B2C markets through multiple channels including distribution, system integrators, retail/e-tail platforms, and public sector procurement.
· Team Leadership: Build, lead, and support a high-performing sales and channel team. Promote a results-oriented environment that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and ongoing professional development.
· Channel & Partnership Management: Utilize existing industry relationships and prior experience working with top-tier partners and distributors to strengthen strategic alliances and expand market coverage.
· Enterprise & Project Sales: Direct large-scale sales initiatives by managing complex client engagements across sectors such as public safety, education, healthcare, and government.
Tailor solution offerings to meet client-specific operational and procurement needs.
· Forecasting & Reporting: Deliver reliable sales forecasting and pipeline analysis and provide actionable market insights to senior leadership. Ensure sales performance metrics are closely aligned with organizational targets and growth plans.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal departments—including marketing, technical support, product development, and logistics—to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and long-term business scalability.
Employment Requirement
· A university degree or college diploma in business administration or a related field, with a focus on sales or marketing.
· A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in sales leadership or a closely related occupation.
· In-depth industry knowledge of NAS, video surveillance, and IT storage infrastructure ecosystems.
· Demonstrated success in leading market entry and expansion initiatives in international regions, preferably in the APAC or North American markets.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and team management skills.
· Proven ability to manage cross-cultural teams is considered a strong asset.
