Due to ongoing business needs, Pizza Garden Langley is seeking a highly experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, staff supervision, financial controls, and compliance requirements.

Position: Restaurant Manager

Duties
• Planning, directing, and coordinating the daily operations of the restaurant, including food service, bar service, staff management, and customer experience
• Establishing, implementing, and maintaining efficient operational policies and procedures
• Determining the range of food and beverage services offered and ensuring consistent quality standards
• Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and supervising kitchen and front‑of‑house staff
• Preparing staff work schedules, managing labour costs, and conducting regular performance evaluations
• Ensuring compliance with BC Employment Standards, WorkSafeBC regulations, food safety requirements, and health and safety legislation
• Managing inventory control, purchasing, supplier coordination, weekly stock collection, and delivery logistics
• Monitoring revenues, reviewing daily sales reports, reconciling payment terminals, and performing accurate data entry and record‑keeping
• Utilizing QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, TouchBistro POS, Square, Tock, and payroll systems to manage financial and operational reporting
• Handling payroll administration and maintaining accurate employee records
• Addressing customer concerns and maintaining high standards of service and professionalism
• Implementing pricing adjustments and cost‑control measures as required to support business sustainability
• Supporting marketing activities, including social media engagement and food photography using Apple mobile devices
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure a high standard of customer service is consistently maintained.

This is a senior management position responsible for full operational oversight, financial controls, payroll administration, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision in a high‑volume restaurant environment. Compensation reflects the scope of managerial responsibility, operational complexity, and the advanced technical and compliance‑related skills required for the role.

Requirements
• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in the food service industry
• Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience as a line cook or higher position
• Demonstrated experience using QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, TouchBistro POS, Square, Tock, and payment terminal reconciliation systems
• Experience with payroll processing, scheduling, and BC Employment Standards compliance
• Working knowledge of WorkSafeBC policies and reporting procedures
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency with Apple mobile devices, social media platforms, and basic food photography
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written); Turkish is an asset but not required
• Completion of a college program in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred
• Food Safe Certification (required)
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs frequently, and working in a warm and fast‑paced environment

Salary & Benefits
• $36.60 / Hour
• Minimum 30 hours per week
• 4% vacation pay, and gratuities
