Responsibilities
1. Tasks
2. Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profi ts
3. Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
4. Evaluate daily operations
5. Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
6. Plan and organize daily operations
7. Recruit staff
8. Train staff
9. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
10. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
11. Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
12. Address customers’ complaints or concerns
13. Provide customer service
14. Manage events
