Minimum Education:
– College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience:
– A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in similar field.

Skills, Knowledge and Required Competencies:
– Willing to work in shifts- Early Morning, morning, afternoon, evening and/or weekends as per requirements.
– Good communication skills.
– The candidate must be willing to undergo certification requirements in the near future (as applicable).

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Recreation Therapist Aide who shall support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being of our clients through structured recreational activities.

Job Duties:
– Plan, coordinate and lead individual or group recreational programs, including crafts, games, and exercise.
– Assist Healthcare professionals.
– Monitor participant behavior during activities to ensure safety and adherence to guidelines.
– Clean and maintain equipment and activity areas.
– Maintain inventory of equipment.
– Perform general clerical duties.
– Organize and maintain inventory.
– Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
