PNP Pharmaceuticals Inc. located at #9388, N Fraser Crescent, Burnaby, B.C.V2J 0E3, is looking to fill in the position of a Quality Control Technician.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced candidate to lead the quality control operations in our pharmaceutical facility, to work along with our Production Manager.
Salary- $31/ hour
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours- 40 hours/week. The applicant is required to work Saturday and Sunday and three additional weekdays, per schedule.

Job duties for this position include:
Qualify and approve supplier, raw material, packaging material, and PPE, including updating documents;
Assist in the development and maintenance of an integrated Quality Management System (QMS) that is compliant with GMP requirements from major regulatory bodies including Health Canada, US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA);
Ensure that PNP is continuously complying with all third-party certifications including the National Science Foundation (NSF) for Dietary Supplements/Sports, Informed Choice, Gluten-Free, Organic, Kosher, Halal and Non-GMO, and Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standard (BRCGS);
Maintain accurate and updated records of all approved documents, Master Documents and logs ensuring only latest approved documents are used;
Provide document control support, including issuance of controlled documents, document tracking and processing, including the Change Control program;
Collaborate internally in a positive and professional manner to resolve issues and ensure procedures are followed from start to end;
Assist in investigations for Out Of Specifications (OOS) and reported deviations;
Executing Corrective Action, Preventive Action (CAPA) procedures including facilitating identification of root causes, risk assessment and implementation of corrective actions with monitoring of effectiveness;
Create and revise SOPs ensuring alignment with Company procedures and external regulations;
Assist in the development and execution of GMP training for all employees involved in the GMP activities.
Audit internal facilities and systems for compliance to SOPs, GMP regulations and other applicable regulations;
Participate in audits by external clients and regulatory authorities;
Lead client onboarding activities in collaboration with the Partnership team;
Act as a backup to the Quality team as needed.
Support Quality Team as needed;
Prepare and maintain quality agreements with clients and contracted services;
Participate in and provide suggestions for the development and continuous improvement of all departmental processes.
Job Requirements:
– 2 years or more of experience in pharmaceutical industry;
– Good communication skills, positive attitude to work and people management skills;
– Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality assurance procedures;
– Ideal applicant must be available to work on any scheduled, rotational or call in shifts including weekends
– Able to work under pressure and time constraint in fast paced environment;
