We are seeking an experienced Inventory manager who will play a crucial role in managing our supply chain and purchasing operations, ensuring the efficient distribution and storage of our high-quality products and developing efficient inventory count systems. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical skills in inventory management and a strong ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring timely supply of materials and products.
Vendor Relations: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Inventory Control: Manage and optimize inventory levels, implementing strategies to ensure availability of products.
System Improvement: Collaborate with administration to enhance inventory management systems.
Team Leadership: Lead and train the inventory and supply chain team, ensuring effective operations.
Quality Assurance: Uphold the high standards of NutroTonic products, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of proven experience in inventory and supply chain management or College Diploma with 2 years of experience.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Experience in developing and implementing inventory management systems.
Excellent negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
Ability to lead and train teams effectively.
Proficient in maintenance and repair tasks relevant to inventory management.
Strong technical and general skills in inventory management.
Be able to work over the weekends as required.
Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
