Nail Technician Full Time NEW

Hollywood Nails & Spa is a nail salon located in the heart of historic downtown St. John’s. We are looking for a reliable and trained esthetician to fill one vacancy in our salon. The terms of the employment position is as follows:
• Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours a week, with possibility of overtime hours)
• Applicant must have flexibility with weekend availability
• Wage will be $16.35/ hour – $18.50/ hour. To be negotiated.
• 10 business days vacation per working year
• Start date to be as soon as possible
Successful applicants must have the following qualifications and skills:
• Esthetician accreditation certificate from college, or other non-university program with a duration of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent educational experience
• 1 year or more experience in a nail salon or similar setting
• Basic English language skills
• Show high levels of skill and attention to detail, be reliable and client-focused
The job duties for each position are:
• Completion of manicures and pedicures
• Nail care: cleaning, trimming, shaping and polishing of nails
• Application of variety of types of nail polish
• Nail repair, including removal
• Application of nail extensions: acrylic, gel, lcn, and more
• Nail art: gem design application, detailed nail polish designs and 3D designs.
• Massages: hand and arm, leg and foot
