We are currently looking for a Shawarma Chef with experience of butcher to take on a permanent position with Mike Shawarma. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting, deboning, and preparing the shawarma marinades, and as a Cook, you will carry out the kitchen operations to prepare food that meets Mike’s shawarma standards and themes, as well as develop the menu.
• Butchering carcasses and marinating cuts for shawarma.
• Prepares and cook meals.
• Plan menus, determine meal portion sizes and control quality.
• Supervise the daily work of kitchen staff.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and consumables.
• Observe sanitary standards for raw and prepared foods.
• Significant experience in butchery and shawarma marinades.
• Significant experience with Middle Eastern cuisine.
• Knowledge of general food safety rules.
• Ability to work under stress.
