Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 5 years or more HVAC Coil/Equipment Manufacturing
On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: Noisy
Work Setting: Rural area, Relocation costs not covered by employer
Responsibilities
Tasks:
• Prepare and submit reports
• Recommend measures to improve productivity
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Establish work schedules, work priorities, and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
• Train or arrange for training
• Oversee safety of operations
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
• Set up machines and equipment
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Coordinating work activities with other departments
• Ensure the objectives and targets for the production plant, departments, as set out in the production schedule are being followed by floor employees
• Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
• Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments
• Monitor progress of delivery schedules
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Recommend operational changes to ensure that production quota and procedures are met
• Motivate staff ensuring that job quality and quantity standards are being met
