Metal Roofer Full Time

Laing Roofing Vernon is recruiting for Metal Roofers to join their team in Vernon, British Columbia.
Job duties include:
• Install, repair, or replace metal roofing systems. siding panels, soffit systems and sheet metal flashings
• Waterproofing sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
• Install, repair, or replace shingles, shakes, and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
• Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs.
• Use Aerial Platforms to perform work
• May estimate materials required and quote costs.

Job Requirements
• At least 2 years of previous roofing or related construction experience is required.
Additional information
• Wage: $31/hour with yearly review and possible increase.
• Job status: Full time, year-round, permanent position.
