Position Overview
YD Auto Sales is a specialized automotive retailer operating in the premium and performance vehicle segment. The Marketing Manager provides strategic oversight of the company’s marketing function, supporting the positioning and commercialization of automotive products and services while enabling the company’s further expansion into specialized and performance-oriented market segments. The role aligns marketing strategy with sales operations, distribution channels, and evolving industry standards.
Job Duties
●Establish, expand, and manage distribution channels for automotive products and services through digital platforms, third-party marketplaces, and strategic industry partners.
●Plan, conduct, and analyze market research studies, sales data, and campaign performance metrics to support strategic planning and business development
●Oversee the commercialization of vehicle inventory and specialized automotive offerings, ensuring effective positioning, pricing, and launch execution in collaboration with sales and operations.
●Direct the development of technically informed marketing narratives and visual materials to establish a technology-driven brand identity distinct from conventional automotive retailers.
●Oversee content strategy and external communications to ensure all marketing materials demonstrate technical credibility, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
●Direct the creation of technical content strategies for high-performance tuning markets (e.g., ECU calibration, forced induction), ensuring marketing narratives accurately reflect complex engineering specifications to a specialized enthusiast audience.
●Develop and govern marketing approaches that reduce customer adoption risk by clearly communicating product performance boundaries, reliability considerations, and usage disclosures.
●Direct the planning, execution, and coordination of integrated marketing strategies aligned with organizational objectives and market conditions.
●Manage marketing budgets, review third-party proposals, and maintain working relationships with marketing vendors, technology partners, and service providers.
●Drive the development and market entry of new business units and specialized automotive services by defining target markets, channel strategies, and sales positioning.
●Translate engineering analyses, performance metrics, and technical specifications into clear value propositions that support differentiated pricing and product positioning.
Education & Experience Requirements
●Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field relevant to the automotive industry.
●Minimum 3 years of progressive marketing experience in the automotive, vehicle sales, aftermarket, or motorsports sectors.
●At least 2 years of experience in a senior or managerial marketing role with responsibility for planning and decision-making.
●Demonstrated experience establishing and managing distribution channels and supporting product development or commercialization.
●Experience of marketing technically complex or performance-oriented products within the automotive industry.
●Experience of working with proprietary or in-house digital systems supporting sales or marketing operations.
Required Skills
●Ability to analyze market research, sales data, and campaign performance metrics to guide pricing decisions, inventory selection, and demand forecasting for high-end and performance vehicles.
●Proven capability to direct and evaluate marketing strategies across multiple channels.
●Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to translate automotive engineering data and performance specifications into clear, compelling marketing messages for high-performance and modified vehicles.
●Proficiency with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
●Strong organizational and vendor management skills.
●Awareness of regulatory and compliance considerations in automotive marketing.
●Background in engineering is an asset
Employment Details
●Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
●Wage: $7,500 per month (based on 30 hours per week)
●Schedule: Monday to Friday
