Male Caregiver [NOC 44101] Full Time NEW

A private household in Vancouver, BC, is seeking an experienced, trustworthy and dedicated Male Caregiver [NOC 44101], to provide full-time care for an elderly parent . Additionally, some light housekeeping duties will be required.
Location of Work: 1411 Edinburgh Street, New Westminster, BC, V3M 2W3
Salary- $25/ hour
Hours of work-40 hours/week. Applicant is required to work weekend per schedule provided.
Accommodation available- You will be provided accommodation in the house which is optional.
Benefits- 10 days’ vacation or 4% salary.

Job duties for this position requires:
Supervise and care for individual;
Assist client in bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene;
Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning and organizing;
Assist in regular exercise ;
Prepare and serve nutritious meals per dietary requirements. Let us know if you are familiar with East Indian cuisine;
Planning and facilitating community outings;
Administering medications [including antibiotics and creams per prescription]
This is a full time permanent position that we are seeking to fill.
Job Requirements:
Completion of Secondary School ;
Previous experience in senior care or a similar role;
First aid certification and CPR certification ;
