Landscaping Foreman/Woman NOC 82031 Full Time

T. Moscone & Bros Landscaping is hiring a full-time (40 hours per week), permanent Landscaping Foreman/Woman. The successful candidate will be paid $37.00/hour and receive extended health and dental benefits after 6 months of employment. This position is based out of our office located at 4025 East 1st Avenue in Burnaby, BC, V5C 3W5. Travel to worksites located throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland is required. The language of work is English.

Duties are as follows:
• Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers who perform the following duties: maintain lawns, gardens, parks,and other landscaped areas, spread topsoil and lay sod; spray, prune, cut and remove trees and shrubs; construct landscape and landscape structures; hardscaping & working with stone structures/pieces; and plant, cultivate and harvest trees, shrubs, flowers and plants.
• Establish work schedules and procedures, and co-ordinate activities with other work units.
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
• Manage invoicing, financial and personnel records.
• Train workers in job duties and company policies.
• Plan, estimate, and requisition the supplies, material andlabour required for individual contracts;
• Organize the planting and maintenance of trees, gardens, lawns, shrubs and hedges and the construction and installation of fences, decks, patios, walkways and retaining
• May perform snow removal during the winter season, as required.
• May perform the same duties as workers supervised.

Job requirements:
• Completion of secondary school; and
• A minimum of 3 years of related work experience is required.

Additional information:
• Wage: $37 per hour. Overtime paid per the Employment Standards Act of British Columbia.
• Vacation: 4% of gross earnings, increasing to 6% after 5 years of employment.
