Job Description and Qualifications:
Farmhouse Bakery Inc. is company located in Clarenville, NL that produces allergy-friendly baked goods for a wide range of customers. We are a community-focused agricultural and culinary operation dedicated to creating high quality delicious baked goods. We aim to deliver products that meet high standards of quality using selected ingredients. Our staff consists of experienced professionals committed to maintaining customer service and providing fresh products. We are looking for skilled Kitchen Supervisors to join our growing team.

Job Duties:

• Supervising kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed;
• Coordinating food preparation and service to ensure quality, timeliness, and consistency;
• Monitoring inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as required;
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards;
• Establishing work schedules and procedures;
• Assisting in menu planning and contribute ideas for incorporating seasonal farm-fresh ingredients;
• Resolving any kitchen-related issues promptly and efficiently; and
• Ensuring that food safety protocols and hygiene regulations are strictly followed and meet quality control standards.

Skills (education, experience):
• Community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management OR
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or similar role

Language of Work: English

Wage: $16.00/hour

Hours: Minimum 30 hours a week
