Position Description:
Join our team at Hariri Pontarini Architects as an Interior Design Lead and play a key role in the delivery of high-quality design solutions across projects. This role combines creative vision with operational leadership, ensuring design excellence, client satisfaction, and alignment with organizational goals. You will collaborate closely with project teams, architects, and stakeholders, providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and support to maintain consistency and innovation across all interior design initiatives.

Positions Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead interior design concepts from schematic design through construction documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, clients, and project teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications, and material selections.
• Coordinate multiple interior design projects, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior interior designers.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Complete weekly timesheet submissions in a timely manner.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
• A degree in Interior/ Architecture/ Art / Design/ relevant field
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of complex projects and architectural background.
• Strong understanding of design development, material research, and industry
• best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously
• ARIDO or other relevant membership and certifications is an asset
• Turkish language is an asset
Required Competencies:
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects, budgets, timelines, and resources
• effectively.
• Proven ability to mentor, lead, and develop design teams; foster high performing, collaborative culture.
• Skills in Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Contract Documents and Contract Administration
• Skilled in building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding needs, and delivering solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Strong software skills such as Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign
