INHOME CAREGIVER FOR ELDERLY INDIVIDUAL Full Time

In-Home Caregiver is required for an elderly individual who is physically immobile and needs constant care. Duties include feeding, bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, physio and massage.. Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) and accompany on appointments. Initiative, reliable and punctual. Requires a caregiver with at least 5 years in a medical background setting on bedside care dealing with physically handicapped individual. Certificate or degree in nursing or medical field is a plus. Salary is $20.00 per hour for a work schedule of 35 hours per week (variable daily schedule between 8am-7pm). All meals are provided for, if caregiver lives far away they can stay at the house. Work at employer’s home on Clarke Avenue in Westmount, Québec (between Sunnyside and Sherbrooke streets). Benefits as per the law. (with live-in availability, if so desired but not required). This is a permanent position if employment is suited for both parties. Immediate start date (flexible for the right candidate). English necessary. References are mandatory.
