In Home Child Caregiver Full Time

Supervise and care for 2 children under the age of 7 years old in the employer’s home following routines for meals, play, dressing, bathing and homework
Picking up and dropping children to school and providing after school care
Light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Preparing and serving nutritious meals to our children
Keep records of activities and health information regarding child
Stimulating the child’s development through organizing and supervising activities i.e. reading and play time
Instruct child on personal hygiene and provide structure and discipline to the child in line with employer’s philosophies
Creating a stimulating, nurturing, positive and safe environment
Other duties as required
Job Requirements/Skills:
Flexible, self motivated, energetic, positive and open to feedback
Detail oriented, attentive, compassionate & loving
Ability to plan, follow instructions, organize and multi-task
A minimum of 1 years experience in child caregiving
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
A high school graduate with first aid/CPR training
Our preference is for the Caregiver to commit to a 2 year full-time contract
We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker
Weight handling up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
Salary and benefits:
$19.00/hour @ 30 hours per week (minimum) up to a 40 hours per week (maximum)
You will be required to work Monday to Friday during working hours with occasional evenings
Optional room and board. This is not a condition of employment
