Job duties:
• Plan itinerary for trip or expedition and arrange transportation or transport individuals or group to site
Assemble and inspect necessary equipment and supplies, such as camping gear, food.
Lead or escort individuals or groups and advise on safety and emergency measures, techniques and the use of equipment
Provide instruction for activities such as hiking and mountain climbing
Scout rural zones for wildlife
Camp preparation
Advise on specific laws and regulations for activities such as hunting.
Follow environmental guidelines and prevent violations
Provide first aid in emergency situations
May prepare meals for group and set up camp.
Hunting big game, wilderness experience, general back country work, team work, relating with international clientele, communication skills, mountain horse riding and equipment.
Wage: $32.50 per hour, lodging, fuel and food are all provided
Terms of employment: Seasonal (approx.) May 1 2026 through November 30 2026
Benefits package: Lodging, Fuel and meals are provided at no cost to employee
Language: Must be able to read, write & speak English

Skills/Requirements:
• Previous experience as a hunting guide
• Experience working in remote locations
• Experience as a hunting guide and knowledge of Canadian hunting industry ( Alberta and Saskatchewan) (an asset)
• Be physically fit and be able to work long hours
• Be flexible to work all days of the week (varied work days)
• Be willing to work outdoors
• Be self motivated
• Have a good attitude and relate well to clients
• Participate in setting up and breaking down stands
• Have a clean driver’s record
• Resume required
• References available upon request
