Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort.
Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols.
Support patients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs.
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or case managers.
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation or anxiety.
Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light cleaning duties as needed.
Support clients with activities of daily living in compliance with care plans and safety guidelines.
Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety for both clients and staff.
Document care provided accurately in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care plans tailored to individual needs.
Qualifications
Prior experience in senior care, home care, or working with people with disabilities is highly desirable.
Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, medication administration, and medical terminology is preferred.
Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to patient support.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
Training in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential.
