Home Child Care Provider Full Time

The Tordillos household is seeking the assistance of one (1) Home Child Care Provider on a full-time bases to work in our private home in Calgary, Alberta. This position is a permanent full-time position and the median of language for this position is English. This is NOT a live-in care position.

Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and care for children in a private home setting
Bathe, dress and feed small children
Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and light duty housekeeping tasks
Manage and oversee meal planning and rest periods, as instructed by employer
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Instruct children in personal hygiene
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
Provide assistance with age-specific education such as homework and development
Take children to and from appointments

Education and Experience Requirements:
Secondary education required
Post secondary credential in caregiving is an asset
Experience with childcare in a personal home setting or child day home setting

Wage and hours:
This position is $21.00 per hour for 30-40 hours per week. This position is a permanent full-time position.
