Job Position: Home Child Care Provider

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hourly Wage: $20

Work Hour: 30 hours per week (overtime may be required)

Work Location: 306 – 747 E 3rd St, North Vancouver, BC V7L 1G8

Language Requirement: English

We are seeking a caring and reliable Home Child Care Provider to provide nurturing support and guidance for my child in a warm home environment. The ideal candidate should be patient, attentive, and passionate about childcare. Accommodation in our home can be provided for free if needed, or we can help find affordable housing in or near the community.

Job Duties:

• Provide care and supervision for children in a private household.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Organize activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, and social development.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding as needed.
• Oversee rest periods, naps, and bedtime routines.
• Accompany children to and from school, appointments, or recreational activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties related to child care.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and daily activities.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma is preferred.
• Proven experience or demonstrated ability to work in this role.
• A clear criminal record check is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, patience, and a warm attitude with children.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
