Job Duties:
• Load, unload, move, and organize glass panels, aluminum materials, tools, and hardware at the workshop and job sites.
• Assist with the preparation and setup of work sites for glass installation projects, including measuring, staging materials, and securing work areas.
• Support skilled glass installers in installing glass products such as shower doors, railings, privacy fences, and other residential and commercial glass systems.
• Handle pre-cut glass and aluminum components carefully to prevent damage and ensure workplace safety.
• Assist in assembling and positioning glass frames, brackets, fittings, and aluminum accessories as directed.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment to support cutting, fitting, sealing, and finishing tasks under supervision.
• Clean work areas, remove packaging materials, broken glass, and debris in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
• Perform routine inspection, cleaning, and basic maintenance of tools, equipment, and protective gear.
• Follow all workplace health and safety regulations, including proper handling of glass materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a steady and efficient pace of work to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Prepare work sites and facilities by loading and unloading materials, tools, and facilities.
