Location of Work: 5525 Buchanan St., Burnaby, BC, V5B 2R8, and various location s in and around Lower Mainland, BC.
Employment Type: Full-time and Permanent (30-40 hours/week)
Wage: 25 dollars per hour
Position Available: 1

Job Duties:
• Load, unload, and transport lumber, engineered wood products, and construction materials to designated work areas on site
• Assist carpenters and framing tradespersons in the construction of wood structures, including walls, floors, roofs, and partitions
• Measure, mark, and hold materials in place during framing and installation activities under supervision
• Erect and dismantle temporary supports, scaffolding, and basic formwork required for framing work
• Operate and maintain basic hand and power tools such as hammers, nail guns, saws, and drills as directed
• Assist in assembling, positioning, and securing wood framing components according to site instructions
• Remove debris, scrap wood, and waste materials to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support demolition and renovation tasks related to framing, including removing old framing materials
• Tend or feed materials to tools and equipment used in framing activities
• Follow safety procedures and assist in maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

Job Requirements:
• No education background required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
