Foundry Supervisor

Designed Precision Castings Inc. is a leading investment casting manufacturer serving the aerospace, nuclear and industrial sectors. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Foundry Supervisor to join our team in Brampton, Ontario.

Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of foundry personnel.
Establish work schedules and monitor daily production activities.
Prepare production and operational reports.
Train employees in job duties, company policies and workplace safety procedures.
Recommend measures to improve productivity, efficiency and product quality.
Requisition or order materials, equipment and production supplies.
Coordinate machine and equipment setup.
Monitor production to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
College, CEGEP or equivalent experience.
1 to less than 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment.
Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
Work Environment
On-site position (no remote work)
Noisy, dusty and hot foundry environment
Permanent full-time employment
Day shift
40 hours per week
Compensation
$36.00–$37.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
