Job Description and Qualifications:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Delight, Just Fries, Manchu Wok, and Cafe Depot MUN University Food Court.

Job Duties:
• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Hire food service staff.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Prepare budget and cost estimates.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.
• Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
• Supervise and check the assembly of trays.
• Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys.
• Establish work schedules

Skills (education, experience):
• Completion of secondary school
• 2 or 3 years of experience in the food service industry or completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline

Language of Work: English

Wage: $16.00/hour

Hours: Minimum 30 hours a week
