FLOOR COVERING INSTALLER Full Time NEW

LA DEVELOPMENT LTD is looking for two (2) experienced Floor Covering Installers to join our flooring construction team for a full time, minimum 2 to 3 years term/contract employment with a strong possibility of becoming continuing full time employment based on dependability, work ethics, and reliability to meet job expectations. Work location is for different residential, institutional and commercial clients in Lethbridge and surrounding areas. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with plenty of opportunities for overtime.

Tasks
Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors
Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
Prepare and install hardwood floors
Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
Prepare floors for installations
Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces
Perform direct glue-down carpet installations
Install outdoor carpets
