Title of the Position: Finance Director

Job Duties:

Manage and oversee financial operations for Kitasoo Seafoods and associated business units.
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial statements, providing detailed financial insights to senior management.
Manage financial transactions, including payroll, accounts payable, and receivable.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Monitor cash flow and evaluate financial performance to support decision-making.
Lead financial audits and maintain relationships with external financial stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for financial improvement and operational efficiency.

Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent position (30-40 hours/week)

Language of Work: English

Wage: $54 per hour (eligible for performance-based pay and incremental raises).

Skills Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, including leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
