Language: English an asset
Education: Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent.
Experience: 2 to 3 years.
On site: work must be completed at the physical location
Environment: Corn farming, wheat farming, outdoors, dusty, hot, noisy, odours,. All weather conditions.
Work setting: rural
Tasks. plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crip rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology and cover crops. Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities.
Equipment and machinery experience: Fertilizer applicator, tractor, combine harvester, planting equipment, hand tools, agriculture production machineries, truck.
Security: driving record check, (abstract) driver’s validity licence check
transportation: valid driver’s licence, own transportation.
Work Conditions: work under pressure, tight deadlines, physically demanding, attention to detail, handling heavy loads,
Combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Hand eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods, bending crouching and kneeling.
