Title of the Position: Electrical and Electronics Field Service Technician (Junior Level) NOC 22310
Job Duties:
As an Electrical and Electronics Field Service Technician (Junior Level) at Raeyco Lab Equipment Systems Management, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks. Your duties include, but are not limited to:
• Assist in the calibration, adjustment, and repair of electrical and electronic instrument components such as sensors, transmitters, and controllers.
• Identify and rectify out-of-specification conditions through adjustments, component replacements, and correction factors.
• Troubleshoot, replace defective parts, and conduct functional tests to ensure proper operation of electrical and electronic systems.
• Perform calibration and testing of laboratory equipment in accordance with applicable regulations, standards, test methods, and work instructions.
• Provide technical support and solutions to customers, including diagnosing problems and recommending corrective actions.
• Generate service, test, and calibration reports, maintaining accurate records in compliance with Raeyco’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Review and approve calibration data and certificates, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of estimates, schedules, and reports related to service and calibration activities.
• Initiate and follow up on actions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities in equipment performance or service delivery.
• Identify and report quality issues and opportunities for improvement in service processes.
• Discontinue any activity that may compromise regulatory compliance, customer expectations, or quality standards.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time

Wages: $37/hr for 40 hours per week
Requirements: Field of formal study: one of the following: college diploma or degree in Metrology, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Electronics engineering.
Minimum lab or lab related experience: 24 months.
Minimum sales experience: 24 months.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
• Familiarity of the GMP environment
• Familiarity with relevant equipment such as balances, pipettes, temperature & humidity calibrations, centrifuges, incubators. .
• Proficiency in computer usage and effective communication.
• Detail-oriented nature and excellent time management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Good maths and computer skills
• Specific experiences in service, maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment
• Salesforces knowledge.
• Physical capability for lifting, carrying, and performing tasks that involve standing, kneeling, and bending.
• A clean valid driver’s license and willingness to travel overnight and on occasion out of country.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of German language is considered an asset – especially pertinent to technical documentation verbiage
• Strong electronic and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of equipment calibration, applications, troubleshooting, repairs, and optimization.
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles.
• Customer facing B2B sales experience – requires proven record and/or recommendations
• Instrumentation and control
• Metrology
• Experience working with HPLC, GC & Mass Spec.
• Experience working with Biological Safety Cabinets and clean rooms
• Experience working on ultra-low freezers and/or environmental chambers.
• Relevant experience in a regulated environment GMP
Extra points:
Biochemistry, chemistry – testing equipment experience or formal training strongly preferred.
Experience with Vitro Quantitative, Semi-quantitative and Qualitative measurement devices will definitely get our attention!
