Drywall Installer Full Time

MYA Designs Inc. is looking for one (1) Drywall Installer to join our team in Calgary, Alberta!

Job duties include:

-Cut, measure and fit drywall sheets for installation
-Use taping machine to tap over joints and apply tape in compound
-Install corner beads and wire mesh
-Install sheets to metal and wood studs and Joists
-Apply joint compound to fill holds and nail indents using trowel and broad knife tools
-Smooth and shape applied compound for finish
-Clean work area and inspect for hazards
-May use scaffolding and lift jacks with ability to install and tear down scaffolding

Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience
-1-2 years of construction experience and relatable drywall experience
-Formal training and on-the-job training provided

Compensation: $27.00 per hour for 30-40 hours per week
Shop location: 237 Copperpond Landing SE, Calgary, Alberta T2Z 1G6
