Drywall and Acoustic Board Installer Helper Full Time

Key Responsibilities:
– Load and unload construction materials
– Erect and dismantle drywall as instructed by site supervisor
– Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
– Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
– Position and secure sheets to metal or joists
– Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
– Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints
– Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
– Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
– Perform other duties at construction sites as directed

Requirements:
– No degree, certificate or diploma is required
– Paid on-the-job training will be provided, previous relevant experience preferred but not required
– Physically demanding, should handle weight up to 23kg (50lbs)
